Bahrain Victorious secures Australian rider Jack Haig till 2025

Australian rider Jack Haig has decided to extend his contract with Bahrain Victorious for two more years, till 2025. While Haig has not secured any stage wins or overall wins for the team, his climbing abilities help the team in the hilly stages.
He officially joined the team at the start of 2021, His first praise-worthy result was Paris-Nice where he finished in the top 10 GC and the Critérium du Dauphiné. While Tour de France was not his forte, he once again took the podium with third overall in Vuelta a Espana.
He continued delivering performance at the start of this but Tour de France was once again a tough challenge for the Australian rider. He crashed in the fifth stage of the tour and later diagnosed with a broken wrist. He is currently recovering from his injuries and there is no definite date known for his return.
