Women's Olympic Road Race champion Anna Kiesenhofer will be back in action in international competition later this year, as she will be racing the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta with the Soltec Team in a brief contract for the rest of 2022.
Despite her new Olympic title, Kiesenhofer had still not found a pro contract for 2022. She raced the Austrian national championships where she finished second on both road race and individual time-trial, but the 31-year old will be in action later this year with the Soltec Team.
The Spanish race is set to take place between the 7th and 11th of September, simultaneously with the men's Vuelta a Espana.

But come to think of it.. The master tacticians of Team UEA must have definitely thought of this aspect a million times over… I see this as purely Planned.
