The men's Movistar Team 2024 is ready to start its preparation. From Sunday, December 10 through Wednesday, December 20, the team will concentrate in Calpe, on Alicante's Costa Blanca, to lay the foundations for what will be its 45th season in the elite category.
The 29 members of the telephone team will meet in this unique training camp of the 2024 preseason. The Spanish squad will disembark in Levantine lands on Saturday 9, ready to immerse themselves in an intense preparation that will include long training sessions on the road, physical and technical tests, commitments with sponsors and VIPs, and other events of great relevance for the Spanish team.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the integration of Nairo Quintana, whose return to Movistar Team was announced shortly after the first logistical camp in Pamplona. Quintana, one of the most prominent names in the world of cycling, will join his new teammates on European soil, marking the beginning of a new stage in his career.
The arrival of Davide Cimolai, recently confirmed as part of the team, also adds an exciting ingredient to this training camp. It will be an opportunity for Cimolai to familiarize himself with his new surroundings and begin to build the foundation for the upcoming season. In the meantime, the Movistar Team women's team is scheduled to meet for training in early January, with dates and location to be announced in due course.
