Having focused heavily on stage races during his career so far, Jonas Vingegaard is yet to make an appearance racing in the colours of the Danish national team at a World Championships, a European Championships or an Olympic Games. Given the Team Visma | Lease a Bike leader is renowned as one of the greatest climbers of the modern era, it's doubtful that Vingegaard will ever get a better chance to add a World Championship win to his palmares.
