20-second time penalty for Demi Vollering at the Tour de France Femmes

After Demi Vollering needed a wheel change relatively late on stage 5 of the Tour de France Femmes, Team SD Worx' team car faced a mad scramble to get her back to the front of the race. Now though, Vollering has been punished for the drafting, costing her 20 seconds.

After gaining bonus seconds on the earlier stages, Vollering was actually narrowly in front of her arch nemesis, Annemiek van Vleuten. Following the 20 seconds penalty though, the Team SD Worx leader is now 12 seconds behind van Vleuten in the updated general classification.
