- Lipo is more likely to be up there than Remco.
Seixas's build is similar to that of Isaac del Toro, Giulio Pellizzari and the other fellow. What they have in common is that when they crack, they crack BADLY, as they are heavier. Pogačar doesn't crack now because there is no-one to crack him.
They are very different to lightweights like Vingegaard who never really lose the GC on a single stage. Seixas may well match Pogačar stride for stride on Col du Haag, but crack on Plateau du Soloaison
- Maybe he means that Pogačar won two, then he won two, then Pogačar won two, then now he will win two, all one two
- Let me make something very clear. Tadej Pogacar is the current winner of Tour de France, LBL, Flanders, Worlds, San Remo and Lombardy.
It's like winning the 100 and 200m, the high jump, the long jump and the 800m race at the same time. It's simply impossible, it's not physically possible and that impossible is called Tadej Pogacar the G.O.A.T. And what does Vinni the 🐟say: "Now it’s my turn to win the Tour de France.”
PS: Vinni, Glyngore is waiting....
- That stage was basically a sprint stage with over 4100 m of climbing. That's what makes it good preparation for the Giro
- If he's irrelevant he should move to another team> he could have outright GC leadership with many teams
- I would be more interested in seeing how he matches up against Seixas first. Are both of them racing at the CdD (or the Tour Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes as it is called now)? Maybe not Jonas, considering he is also doing the Giro.
- Should be a great TdF. Hopefully Jonas and Visma can push Tadej and at least keep it close. And if Tadej has one bad day a la 2022 and 2023, then who knows
- Almeida is soon becoming irrelevant. He's not able to win against Vingegaard, Seixas, Evenepoel and other top-level cyclists. Does UAE care about second or third place? I don't think so. He's best suited for being a Domestique for Pogacar.
- I like the bravado from Jonas. That's what cycling fans have been waiting for. A rival worthy of battling Pogacar and taking the fight to him. Throw in Seixas and Evenepoel and we have a TdF that will be historic.
- It doesn’t work like that jv - you don’t get a “turn” - you have to crush Pog and the other contenders - rooting for Pogi!
