- He's gone cuckoo crazy. Pedersen is among the top cyclists this year with Wout not there yet. It is much difficult for talent to win stages today than previous eras
- What's wrong with De Vlaeminck again?
Some modern pro athletes should ride the old bikes used by this oldie and get an apple to apple comparison against his greatest records, and then settle this once and for all.
- If he is this weak, then he has no hope for podium, maybe not even top 5. He should switch to stage wins as objective
- Kuss was “given” the Vuelta win by his teammates, :) But, agree that even as a domestique he isn’t doing so well. Maybe he gets better when the Tour comes around.
- Tadej saving energy? nah... that is not Tadej. And it was the last stage with 3 weeks to the Tour...
- But Jonas (Samaritan, ahahahha) tried to challenge him, inviting him to pull together, even provoking him with a sprint... nothing, apathetic. He is always enthusiastic and loves to win, even the most useless stages, he doesn't care at all about saving energy. Very strange.
- Maybe his DS instructed him not to go for the win, to save some energy for the Tour, so for once he was bored. Jonas may have also been told not to expend more energy than necessary, as he did not go all-out for the win. Apparently they even shared a joke, while effortlessly dropping the rest of the GC group.
- I have to agree with Carapaz. It was a bit bizarre.
On the other hand Carapaz is famously bad at collaborating so he did bring it on himself a bit.
I’d chalk it up to inexperience on del Toro’s part, but why wasn’t he getting better advice from the car?
Still a fantastic Giro for the kid, just a shame to see it end with a whimper after he was such a fighter for the rest of the race.
- Kuss has really gone 'downhill' since his Vuelta win. Could have contended for the stage win but then was almost usless for Jonas when he did drop back.
- You have a problem with him being right ?
