Tom Pidcock returns to Mountain Bike with commanding World Cup win in Andorra

Tom Pidcock delivered a masterclass in mountain biking to take a dominant victory in the Cross Country Olympic race at the 2025 Pal Arinsal World Cup. Despite limited time on the mountain bike this season, the Brit showed his class on a rain-ravaged course in Andorra.
After a shaky start, Pidcock carved his way through the field, hitting the front before the end of the second lap. Only France’s Luca Martin appeared to cling on before Pidcock put daylight between them with a powerful second attack. From then on, Pidcock raced clear to claim a solo and memorable win.
From there, it was a solo exhibition of strength and control as Pidcock rode clear to claim an emphatic win in what was a fittingly dramatic finale to the 10th edition of the Pal Arinsal World Cup.
