The Cyclocross season is gearing up towards the first World Cups, and several riders have already made their trip into the USA. Yesterday saw the Rochester Cyclocross day 2, and the wet conditions made it very difficult for the riders to be able to even move in some sections of the course.
The women's Elite race was won by Annemarie Worst with a comfortable lead, however the race was however most marked by a steep bank has caused the riders severe issues. Seven minutes into the race, on the opening lap, the extreme gradient and slippery mud saw somewhat of a "traffic jam" on the climb as some riders were unable to move, leading to a very unusual situation.
