No fractures for Eli Iserbyt following Val di Sole crash, injury's extent still unknown

The men's race at Val di Sole provided Pauwels Sauzen - Bingoal with a valuable win for Michael Vanthourenhout, however costly crashes for both Fem van Empel and Eli Iserbyt. Both however have been cleared of fractures.

Whilst van Empel managed to walk into the podium and recover better after her crash in the women's race, Iserbyt was carried off in a stretcher and taken out of the venue. He's lost a significant chunk of points in the fight for the World Cup, but a team update sees both cleared of fractures. More examinations will be carried out, albeit likely when both riders return to the Netherlands and Belgium, now that serious problems seem to be off the table.
