Kata Blanka Vas victorious in Kermiscross Ardooie

Team SD Worx rider Kata Blanka Vas has secured the victory in Kermiscross Ardooie. She beat Shirin van Anrooij in the final sprint and took the victory. It is her fourth victory of the season.

Kata Blanka Vas and Shirin van Anrooij started the race with a ten-second lap. They maintained their lead for the second and third laps. Vas increased the pace in fourth lap and Anrooij was unable to counterattack. Vas entered the last lap with a lead of 21 second and it was enough to secure the victory without difficulty. Shirin van Anrooij gave tough competition to Blanka Vas but couldn’t beat her in the end and satisfied herself with the silver. Aniek van Alphen finished in third place.
