This weekend the cyclocross season comes to its climax with the World Championships in Hoogerheide. No unfamiliar terrain for the riders, as a World Championships has been held here for decades. A challenging course where technical passages and power sections alternate. New are the planks uphill, which can play a decisive role just before the finish.

In the men's race, we are looking forward to the eternal duel between Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel. The Belgian is making a rock-solid impression this winter, but Van der Poel won the last duel in Benidorm. Behind him, the battle for bronze will be at least as exciting. In short, a World Cup to look forward to.
