Marianne Vos has continued her winning streak with third-stage victory in the Tour of Scandinavia. The Dutch rider was the best in a sprint.
"This is very special. Winning three times in a row is something you don't see very often", said Vos.She was not in the best position to sprint, but she surprised everyone with her final attack just before the finish line. "We tried to keep control and always be with them," said Vos. She continues, "It was a very tough race, there were constant attacks in the final. I tried to keep the focus and be on the right wheel in the final kilometers."
Though she is scoring victories, she says it's never enough, and it is never dull. She enjoys every victory. “That was pretty tough. I am very happy that I was able to finish. It doesn't get boring. It keeps feeling good every time and it's never the same," concluded Vos. She continues to lead in GC.
