Visma | Lease a Bike and clothing company AGU part ways after a long contract. The Dutch superteam therefore enters new season in the same jerseys as last year and without a clothing sponsor.

The cyclists of Visma | Lease a Bike and its predecessors were dressed for years - at least on their bikes - by the Dutch sportswear company AGU. But that company got into trouble. Although they made a fresh start, the collaboration with the Netherlands' largest cycling team is coming to an end due to pressing budget.

You would think that they would join forces with a new clothing sponsor, but that is not how it went at Visma | Lease a Bike. According to Wielerflits, Richard Plugge's team spoke to Rapha and Adidas, but that came to nothing.

And so instead of securing a lucrative deal with one of the sport giants, Visma | Lease a Bike has outsourced the production of the shirts to Sportconfex. The merchandise is now in-house instead of Rapha or Adidas taking care of that. The proceeds also go to the team. The design has not changed at all.

Visma | Lease a Bike previously also managed to find new sponsors for other clothing that was previously supplied by AGU. For example, the gloves are now supplied by GribGrab and the overshoes will be provided by DeFeet from the first day of racing in 2025.

Visma | Lease a Bike is also changing saddle partners. The riders will no longer be sitting on a Fizik saddle, but on one from Prologo. They are swapping seats with UAE Team Emirates, who will be seen riding on Fizik saddles from 2025.

In the world of virtual cycling, the Visma riders will also no longer be seen on Zwift, because competitor Rouvy has joined the team. The shoe partner of the team will remain Nimbl. Cervélo and SRAM are also still fixed as material sponsors.
