Annemiek van Vleuten and Elisa Longo Borghini both have big ambitions at the 2023 Tour de France Femmes. Both have had an early moment of stress and worry on stage 2 however, getting caught up in a crash.
As riders began to attack at the front of the peloton on a categorised climb, stress within the peloton was high and both van Vleuten and Longo Borghini were keen to get to the front of the bunch. Sadly both riders ended up hitting the deck. Thankfully nothing serious, as both riders remounted and worked their way back into the peloton.
