The Col de la Loze saw all kinds of drama this afternoon with Tadej Pogacar blowing up and the Tour de France being decided. However it was not all sunshine for Jonas Vingegaard, as he had to put a foot down, blocked by an organizer car which had stopped on the road.
The incident took place with 8 kilometers to go, close to the summit of the climb. The brutally steep gradients and big crowds saw an organizer car having to stop on an hairpin. Jonas Vingegaard, who was solo at this point, had to stop on the road together with Wilco Kelderman, a shocking event which marks a very eventful stage.
