VIDEO: The Vuelta a España starts in a rain-soaked Barcelona

The Vuelta a Espana 2023 has started in one of the hottest summers in living memory. However, just on the day of the start of the grand tour, the day was cloudy in Barcelona and the start of the team time trial was wet.
The Caja Rural - Seguros RGA team, the first to start, did so with great caution in the first corners to avoid crashes, and the Vuelta a España 2023 is underway! Arkéa Samsic in the meantime has already some of it's riders hit the deck in the soaking wet roads.

- Didn't like to see Kopecky and Wiebes attacking after a big crash in the leading group. Poetic justice in the end. Ferrand-Prevot hit the deck in that same crash. And in Catalunya UAE also increased the pace at the front of the bunch when some of the favourites went down. No bad karma in this case though.heinz12-04-2025
