Stage 6 of the Tour de France this year is a day to remember for a long time. The next battle in the Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar war, today the latter hit back and won the stage with an explosive attack on the final climb to Cauterets.
After Jonas Vingegaard attacked on the Col du Tourmalet and earlier in the final climb, Pogacar was still in a position of control. After a bad day yesterday, today his legs were better and he hit back. He made the winning move with 2.8 kilometers to go and has won 24 seconds in that space.
