Wow! What a thrilling finale to stage 18 of the 2023 Giro d'Italia. As the GC battle took flight behind, Thibaut Pinot and Filippo Zana battled it out for the stage win.
At the final Giro d'Italia of his career, Pinot is desperate to take a stage win. For the second time at this year's race he was denied at the line however as the Italian national champion, Team Jayco AlUla's Filippo Zana proved to have too much left for the Frenchman in the final kilometre, taking the first Grand Tour win of his career.
