With just a few months to go until the 107th edition of the Giro d'Italia (May 4th-26th), the official Maglia Rosa worn by the race leader has been unveiled.
"The pink jersey is an extraordinary symbol that represents the Giro d'Italia, a great race," said the president of race organiser, RCS Mediagroup, Urbano Cairo in quotes collected by Gazzetta.it. "The Giro is an excellence of the world, an ideal testimonial of Italy around the world because its images go to 200 countries, and are seen by hundreds of millions of people. The Giro is an ambassador of beauty, an ambassador of our extraordinary country. The jersey is a special, recognized symbol."
