Tudor announce WorldTour stage race winner's contract extension - Former national champion signs long-term deal until 2030

Tudor Pro Cycling have moved quickly to tie down one of the ProTeam's in-form riders, confirming that Marco Brenner will ride with the Swiss outfit until the end of the 2030 season.
The former German national champion has evolved into a solid stage racing option for Tudor, and took his first WorldTour overall win thanks to a Tour de Pologne victory last weekend.
Brenner sealed four top-ten finishes to finish his week in Poland, finishing top of the GC standings ahead of Finn Fisher-Black and Ivan Romeo on the podium. The impressive result added to his previous 4th place overall in the Tour Down Under.
Speaking after renewing, the 23-year-old praised the team after he suffered a severe crash at the Giro d'Italia last season, that saw him spend over three months on the sidelines.
“I am really happy to extend my contract and continue my journey with Tudor Pro Cycling," Brenner said in a statement.

"When I joined the Team in 2024, I found a nice environment that allowed me to perform and find joy. And when I was injured and working on my way back last year, I was given the time and support I needed. I now look forward to adding a few more years to this journey.”
CEO Ralphael Meyer praised the rider and confirmed their belief in him, pointing to the Giro crash as evidence of his determination to fight back from adversity.
“Marco is a young rider we truly believe in. His rehabilitation and return to racing after his severe crash at the 2025 Giro d’Italia are a testament to his fighting spirit – a quality that also defines him as a racer."
As well as his bounce back from injury, Brenner has taken a leap in the 2026 season, confirmed by his Poland victory.

"Last week’s Tour de Pologne was a perfect example of Marco’s determination and resilience, and a great result of both tremendous teamwork and our born to dare racing spirit.”
In the confirmation, the team paid tribute to his work for future generations, noting that he founded his own junior team in Germany.
It read: "But racing is only part of who Marco is. In 2023 — while still establishing himself as a professional — he founded his own junior cycling team in Augsburg, Germany, investing in the next generation of riders from his home region.
"It’s the kind of move that speaks to a bigger picture: a rider who doesn’t just want to win, but also wants to support the next generation."

- The 2006 TDF that Pereiro won after Landis was disqualified was a very memorable tour. On stage 17 Landis was off on his own out front constantly pouring bottles of water over himself to keep him cool as he ploughed on. Watching it we knew he was doping. At the end of the stage you could see he was as high as a kite. He got of the bike and coasted along on one pedal like a postman delivering the mail. Crazy times! knowing what was going on back then, I don't know if Pereiro was doped? According to this article he wasn't. - Pogi is a cycling superstar, an extremely famous talented cyclist, but yet a normal down to earth person. He's so normal because he's from Slovenia, a former almost Balkan country, where most people are down to earth and normal. Unlike the Americans, who always think they are No.1, which is far from the truth. They are becoming the most hated people in the world. - from a racing fans point of view of cause as a spectacle for some good racing and various winners of stages the womens TDF was great. Ok the womens peloton certainly doesnt have the depth of talent compared to the mens they do some great racing. Demi moving to FDJ after being dudded by SD worx and Reusser going to Movistar has been good for the sport . SD worx still get results thru their sprinter weibes and breggen. Breggen has done well after not racing for a few years. I follow the womens tour,MTB,'cross as much as the mens for the competitiveness actually more for MTB and 'cross. the womens racers appear to be a more even riding field whereas the mens in some races just plain boring and just dont look right.
