The death of yet another young talent shatters French cycling

A huge tragedy has been reported in the world of amateur cycling, as the Guidon Chalettois club reported this Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the sudden death of Simon Millon.

The 24-year-old cyclist was a recognized figure in Morbihan due to his outstanding performances. In 2024, he was part of the Morbihan Adris Gwendal Oliveux team, with which he managed to win the prestigious Manche-Atlantique race. He also won the Tour des Deux-Sèvres.

"Simon was a generous, hard-working and loyal person, much loved by his teammates, coaches and club officials. His loss is a hard blow for his family, friends and team, but everyone will move forward with the purpose of honouring his memory in the coming competitions," the club expressed through its networks in statements picked up by Ouest-France.
