Jumbo-Visma, which as of January 1 will be renamed Visma-Lease a Bike, has announced its presence in the Spanish race O Gran Camiño 2024, trusting that its great star Jonas Vingegaard will repeat his participation. The Dane swept this year, taking the overall and all three of the four stages that were completed. The French Groupama-FDJ will also be at this event.
O Gran Camiño 2024 will be held from February 24 to 26 and could once again be Jonas Vingegaard's debut in official competition, just as it happened in 2023, where the Dane won without a rival.
The Netherlands squad, which as of January 1 will be renamed Team Visma-Lease a Bike, will return to Galicia after experiencing an unforgettable 2023 by signing a historic triplet with the victories of Primoz Roglic in the Giro d'Italia, Jonas Vingegaard in the Tour de France and Sepp Kuss in the Vuelta a España.
The presence of the Dutch team joins the already known Groupama-FDJ, which includes some of the most potential French cyclists such as David Gaudu or Stefan Küng.
