For the first time in his career, could Tadej Pogacar be set to race at the E3 Saxo Classic? It would seem to be the case as the Slovenian has been included on the provisional UAE Team Emirates lineup for the race.
As mentioned, Pogacar has never before raced the E3 Saxo Classic. If he were to take part this year, his goal would surely be, as it is in any race he enters, to win. Competition will be tough however, with Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel among those who'll be standing in Pogacar's way.
Pogacar, who is currently leading the general classification at Paris-Nice from David Gaudu and Jonas Vingegaard, will next head to Milano-Sanremo on the 18th of March before taking on the E3 Saxo Classic on the 24th.
The Belgian classic will once again be a star studded encounter as alongside the aforementioned Pogacar, van Aert and van der Poel, the likes of Dylan van Baarle, Mads Pedersen , Christophe Laporte , Biniam Girmay , Tiesj Benoot and Michael Matthews are all set to be present at the start line with victory on their minds.
