The folks at
Relevo have brought forward a piece of news in the cycling market: former MotoGP rider Aleix Espargaró is set to sign for
Lidl-Trek.
The Catalan biker (he has just retired at the age of 35 after two decades in the World Championship competing in different categories) is a cycling lover and on social networks we have been able to see him training during the last years. However, it was not expected that he would make the leap to professionalism. Thus, according to Relevo, Espargaró, who in 2021 was close to signing for Movistar Team, will land in a
Lidl-Trek that has the 30 full chips for next season, so he could end up having a chip in the development team.
