Rigoberto Urán: "A European wins the Tour and the next day he is at home, a South American wins it and it is 8 days of drunkenness"

Rigoberto Urán is the cyclist in the world with the most followers on social networks ahead of current big stars like Tadej Pogacar or Wout van Aert. And no wonder. The EF Education-EasyPost rider, in addition to being a great rider with a great career, is a showman. Every time he speaks he makes headlines, and recently he made a mess of things again during a press conference.

Urán was talking about the difference between European and South American riders and gave a very particular example to give his opinion: "A European cyclist wins the Tour de France and the next day he is at home having a normal breakfast, a South American wins it and it's eight days of drunkenness".
