Third day of the same, but the same story. Lorena Wiebes remains unbeatable at the UAE Tour Women, as she sprinted to victory on stage 3, another comfortable triumph which sees her 2026 remain spotless.
The stage was marked by the breakaway of five in April Tacey, Sonia Rossetti, Gaia Segato, Elisa de Vallier and Sara Luccon. The group was caught still very far from the finish however, and with 40 kilometers to go Nina Berton would then go on the attack and get a few minutes' lead as the peloton calmed down. The catch was then made with 5 kilometers to go.
In the final sprint it certainly wasn't a dominant affair as was the case in the previous days, but nevertheless the Team SD Worx - ProTime rider was able to take the win on Abu Dhabi Breakwater. She beat Lara Gillespie and Amalie Dideriksen to the line.
