Profile. On the 13th of June, the riders take on the roads of Provence in France so as to race one of the toughest one-day races on the calendar. It is the
Mont Ventoux Dénivelé Challenge which ends atop the mythical mountain.
The 153-kilometer route however is much more than just the final ascent, despite being a short day on the bike it features 4400 meters of climbing, with a few climbs right from the beginning of the day, and a lack of true flat terrain. The riders will climb through the finish line twice but through two different sides, the final of which through Bédoin which is the most known. The final climb is 21.3 kilometers at 7.4% and will be the end of a very exciting race.
