On March 13th, the peloton takes on Milano-Torino. As the oldest one-day race of the season, its route often varies, presenting a challenge that doesn't necessarily favor climbers or sprinters this time around. Let's explore its profile.
No Superga summit finish but no bunch sprint in Torino either. The route is completely changed again in 2024 and this time around the finale will take place in Salassa. A route that ends with a flat run-in to the line, but it features a few hilltops where attacks can make the difference.
The two main ones comes with 30 and 18 kilometers to go, 3.1Km at 7% and 3.8Km at 3.9% respectively, where the puncheurs and classics specialists can launch dangerous attacks and test their form ahead of the main classics block.
