Preview stage 2. On the 26th and 27th of July takes place the Vuelta a Castilla y Leon, a race which serves as the final warm-up for the Clásica San Sebastián and is one of the many Spanish races that take place in the run-up to the Vuelta a Espana.
The second and final day of racing is another very tricky and open one. Slightly longer, the 186 kilometers from Coca to Segovia again see two long but not overly hard climbs where the race can be attacked. The roads are then mostly downhill and flat into the line, so the two ascents (8.4Km; 6.7% and 11.3Km at 5.7%) might prove key to the decision of the race.
