Almost every single rider at Team Visma | Lease a Bike is either maintaining his contract, renewing, retiring or has signed with a different team. Only one rider had not been linked to a team: Loe van Belle. But that has now changed.
According to Wielerflits, a move to Beat CC powered by Saxo has been agreed on - with an announcement likely for the coming period.
Van Belle turned professional in 2024, after having spent three years at Visma's development team. The Dutchman has been a long-term project in the works, but has not been renewed for the 2027 season.
A natural-born rouleur, classics specialist and sprinter, he has finished 11th at the Copenhagen Sprint this year and was recently also finished in the Top10 of stages at the ZLM Tour and Tour of Guangxi.
Van Belle has, throughout his three-year stint at Visma's elite team, spent his time as a domestique, aiding the team in its goals all-year round. He has raced Liège-Bastogne-Liège twice in this period.

Van Belle the ultimate exception

Team Visma | Lease a Bike have only one spot remaining for 2027, and Van Belle will not be the rider fulfilling it. His move into the continental scene makes him an unique case in the team this year: He is the only rider who will depart to a separate team.
Visma have confirmed the signings of Fabio Jakobsen - whose contract began now mid-season; and Mark Donovan of Pinarello - Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. Previously, Matisse van Kerckhove had been promoted to the World Tour team starting in 2027.
Steven Kruijswijk and Simon Yates have retired, and those are the only riders, aside from van Belle, who began 2026 with the team and will not start 2027.
Next season however will be a very important one, as the team will have to put in a lot of work to secure its future, as half of its team will be in contract year.
Wilco Kelderman, Sepp Kuss, Jorgen Nordhagen, Fabio Jakobsen, Axel Zingle, Ben Tulett, Bruno Armirail, Owain Doull, Filippo Fiorelli, Per Strand Hagenes, Anton Shiffer, Niklas Behrens, Tijmen Graat, Menno Huising and Pietro Mattio's future will all be on the line.
