Milan Vader returns to MTB following life-threatening injuries

These days, Milan Vader is rarely seen riding his bike. In total, he's participated in only four events this year, the last one being CRO Race last month.

He once again made a comeback on the mountain bike the last Sunday. The Dutchman was present at the start of the Salamina Epic Race. He finished in 23rd position. Lars Foster secured the win as he crossed the finish line 4 minutes ahead of the Jumbo Visma rider.

"The last race of the 'season' is over!" Vader wrote on social media. "Incredibly grateful that I was able to race both road and mountain bike after my crash. I finished 23rd today and took home a handful of UCI points. Ready for more,” concluded the Jumbo Visma rider.
