Milan Menten wins Le Samyn

Lotto Dstny rider Milan Menten has won the Le Samyn. He outpaced his rivals in the final sprint to secure the win. Hugo Hofstetter finished second and Edward Theuns completed the podium.

The group consisting of Gilles De Wilde, Stanislaw Aniolkowski, Kamil Malecki, Tord Gudmestad, Mads Kristensen, Leniac Langella and Philippe Jacob managed to create a gap of more than 5 minutes.

The breakaway was reeled in by the peloton with 54 kilometres remaining. Fabio Jakobsen and Martin Svrček had a crash. With 20 kilometres to go, a group of six riders, including Dries De Bondt, Stan Dewulf, Jenthe Biermans, Victor Campenaerts, and Jarne Van de Paar, launched an attack.

Milan Menten was the fastest in the final sprint and secured the win. Hugo Hofstetter finished second, and Edward Theuns completed the podium.
