Miguel Angel Lopez sets brutal climbing record as he prepares for the Vuelta a Colombia

Miguel Ángel López is training in Antioquia in order to prepare for one of his great challenges in 2023 with Team Medellín -EPM: La Vuelta a Colombia.

The former Astana rider is completing a great campaign in South America and is more than motivated, as he shows not only in the races but also in training. The last thing has been to break the record for the ascent to Tambo, in La Ceja (Fernando Gaviria's hometown).

The Vuelta a Colombia 2023 will take place between June 16 and 25 and will begin with a 7.8-kilometer prologue in Yopal. They will cover a total of 1,411 kilometers with a 42-kilometre time trial finish at La Ceja. Will Miguel Ángel López manage to succeed Fabio Duarte in the list of winners?
