Markus Hoelgaard has signed a contract with Uno-X. The Norwegian rider leaves Lidl-Trek after two years and returns to the team he rode for a number of years. Hoelgaard will be active as a rider of Uno-X until at least the end of 2024.
In the Uno-X shirt, the 28-year old Hoelgaard had a lot of success, for example he won a stage in the Arctic Race of Norway twice (in 2019 and in 2021). In 2021 he also finished in the top 10 of the Tour of Norway, the E3 Classic and the CRO Race. At Lidl-Trek, Hoelgaard did not come close to those successes.
