Maciej Bodnar thanks Peter Sagan for all the years spent together: "We had a lot of fun and it was an unforgettable experience!"

A few days after Peter Sagan competed in his last road race, in this case the Tour de Vendée, the most loyal of his teammates wanted to pay tribute to this extraordinary champion.

Present alongside the Slovak from 2010 to 2023, that is to say during the entire career of the former triple world champion, Maciej Bodnar has experienced everything with him, whether under the colors of Liquigas, Tinkoff-Saxo, BORA-hansgrohe or TotalEnergies. A fantastic joint journey that the 38-year-old Pole really appreciated and which he put into words this week.

"I spent my entire professional career alongside this great guy! 14 years with ups and downs, but in the end, we had a lot of fun and it was an unforgettable experience! I don't regret a single moment, we really took advantage," wrote the eight-time Polish time trial champion on his Twitter account. Maciej Bodnar was notably present alongside Peter Sagan during his victories on the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, as well as on six of the twelve Tour de France contested by the seven-time green jersey.
