Australian rider Luke Durbridge will not participate in the tenth stage of the Tour de France due to Covid-19. Team BikeExchange Jayco officially confirmed the news via social media this morning.
He is the latest victim of Covid-19 after Ruben Guerreiro and Guillaume Martin. Durbridge is the fourteenth dropout in this Tour de France. He was a crucial rider for Team Bike Exchange and even supported Dylan Groenewegen in his stage victory. He was in the 90th position in GC, 52 minutes and 22 seconds behind overall leader Tadej Pogacar.
