Loïc Vliegen steps down to race for Bingoal WB for next two seasons

Loïc Vliegen will join the Bingoal WB team in 2024 for two seasons. The Belgian will thus return to the team he was part of when back in 2012, before he moved to the BMC structure where he spent large part of his professional career.

"I had a very good conversation with Christophe Brandt and I really like the sporting project he is offering me. I appreciate the confidence it gives me, it’s really what I’m looking for to get back on track after what was a very difficult 2023 season for me. I suffered from covid at the start of the year and I suffered the consequences for three months: the classics were very difficult," explains Vliegen.

"I signed with Bingoal WB for 2024 and 2025. I will have a captain role in the team. It’s a role that I know and appreciate very much. I will also be able to play my personal card when possible. My first wish is to have a good winter to be present from the start of the 2024 season and to perform well in the Flandriennes period."
