Kobe Goossens claims Trofeo Andratx cown in impressive fashion

Intermarché - Circus - Wanty rider Kobe Goossens emerged as the winner of the Trofeo Andratx, building a lead in the final kilometres and securing his first victory of the season by leaving his opponent behind.

The peloton faced a series of unsuccessful breakaway attempts as the closely-knit group thwarted the riders' individual efforts. However, a strategic alliance among 42 riders, including Rui Costa and Julian Alaphilippe, ultimately enabled them to create a significant lead.

Kobe Goossens and Cian Uijtdebroeks pulled ahead and left the rest of the group behind. They extended their lead to more than 2 minutes within the last 10 kilometres of the race.

Kobe Goossens maintained his lead and successfully crossed the finish line to celebrate the first professional victory of his career. Pelayo Sánchez Mayo finished second. Lennert Van Eetvelt secured the bronze.
