"If I go, we'll aim for the podium" - David Gaudu doesn't hide high ambitions regarding Tour de France route

There were several famous riders in attendance at the presentation of the official 2023 Tour de France. David Gaudu, Mark Cavendish, and Tadej Pogacar were among the big names in attendance.

In this year's Tour, the French climber from Groupama-FDJ managed to secure fourth place overall. While he was unable to win any stage, he won bronze in the sixth stage from Binche to Longwy. The rider is eager to compete in the next edition and once again try to win the yellow jersey.

“It is a Tour almost made for pure climbers, with a single 22 km time trial, uphill, as hard as a mountain stage. I like the course and hope to be there next year. If I go, we'll aim for the podium. The arrival at the top of the Grand Colombier on July 14, I would love to win it ,” said Gaudu.
