As mentioned, after the early crash, Roglic was able to get back on his bike and back into the mix at the front of the peloton without much of an issue. "I was a nice finish actually, but I was just missing a bit at the end," Roglic, who wasn't able to match his 2nd place from stage 2's punchy finale, reflects honestly. "There's still quite some stages to go."
"It was a fast finish and I think yeah, a high level from everyone. But it's nice to see with the guys that we are up there," the
BORA - hansgrohe leader continues, before previewing the upcoming individual time-trial which could split the general classification open a bit wider. "Tomorrow it'll be nice to change bikes and yeah, we'll see. It will be a super good test now with a longer time-trial, something I didn't really get to do yet. We'll have to see how it goes."
Two stages down, Roglic sits fourth in the general classification. With a good time-trial performance tomorrow however, it's possible we could see the Slovenian moving into the Maillot Jaune.
