Vuelta a Espana GC update | Sepp Kuss takes race lead, Roglic cuts gap to Evenepoel

Sepp Kuss is the new leader of the Vuelta a España overall classification. The American rider of Jumbo-Visma found it hard to arrive with the best in Xorret de Catí, but he fought and ended up entering with the leaders. He took advantage of the fact that Lenny Martinez did not hold the pace and is the new leader of the general classification, now ahead of Marc Soler and the young Frenchman Lenny Martínez, who loses two places.

In fourth and fifth position are two Bahrain Victorious men, Wout Poels and Mikel Landa, who lost less than a minute in the stage and remain close to the top of the classification. Then come all the favorites in less than half a minute: Remco Evenepoel, Primoz Roglic, Jonas Vingegaard, Enric Mas, Juan Ayuso and in eleventh position Joao Almeida. Roglic cut the gap to Evenepoel by four seconds due to bonifications, with both winning time on Jonas Vingegaard.
