"He is right about some of that, but most of it is wrong" - Tadej Pogacar about the infamous Mou's reports on UAE Team Emirates insider info

The cycling twitter is currently a bit over the moon about the cyclingnews forum user going under the nickname 'Mou'. Few weeks ago, he brought quite an in-depth analysis of Tadej Pogacar's power numbers, training methods and so on on the forum.

Among the main points he raises are that the change of coaches for the Slovenian is among the reasons for his slight improvement this year, not having many nice words about Pogacar's former coach Inigo San Millan. 'Mou', who claims to have a full insight into UAE Team Emirates files, also pointed out that while some riders like Joao Almeida or Tim Wellens are prepared to completely expend themselves for their leader, while for example Juan Ayuso is not fully on the boat.

When Ekstra Bladet asked Tadej Pogacar at his press conference about this 'Mou' and his revelations, he nodded that while some things may be correct, most of his claims are either conspiracies or just straight-up lies. "I have heard in recent days that he has received a lot of attention. He is right about some of that, but most of it is wrong," Pogacar pointed out.

However, he had to only shake his head for Ekstra Bladet's question about 'Mous' identity. "I don't know who that guy is and what his purpose is. He is just trying to be important on Twitter and on various forums. I don't follow it, but I've heard a lot about it and people ask. Maybe we can all figure it out together. It is perhaps more your job than it is mine to find out who he is," he said to the journalists at the press conference.

Note that shortly after his spree on the mentioned forum, Mou was subsequently banned from the website and his current whereabouts are a mystery. Probably digging into Visma's files...
