Groupama - FDJ are reunited today in the 'Costa Blanca' to discuss their plans for the 2025 season and after we've learnt about David Gaudu's plans to race the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France, we also learn that the team's new signing Guillaume Martin will also be racing two Grand Tours this year.
Guillaume Martin had spent his recent years in Cofidis but actually this won't be his first time putting on an FDJ jersey - in 2014 he was a trainee for the French team before he went on to join the (now named) Intermarché - Wanty team.
Over the years, he has proven to be a very aggressive and popular rider amongst the French audience, frequently fighting for GC in the Grand Tours but equally chasing stage wins. Although none of his victories were Grand Tour level thus far, he has won the KOM classification at the 2020 Vuelta a España, and he may aim to do the same later this year.
