Stage 4 of the 2023 Tour of Britain has been won once again by Olav Kooij as the young Dutchman made it four successive sprint wins.
After a pair of riders from the TDT–Unibet Cycling Team got into the break, the peloton kept them on a relatively tight leash throughout and with 27km to go they had been caught. With Olav Kooij having won all of the first three stages, Jumbo-Visma were understandably controlling things at the front.
Despite a late mishap at a roundabout, Jumbo-Visma recovered and after another stunning Wout van Aert leadout, Olav Kooij made it four from four.
