The UCI Cyclocross World Cup - Benidorm Costa Blanca is back and promises to surprise all fans with an exciting event scheduled for January 21, 2024. This second edition brings with it a number of exciting changes that will make cyclocross lovers not want to miss a second of the action.

A renewed circuit

One of the most notable aspects of this new edition is the remodeling of the circuit that will take place in the Parks of El Moralet and Foietes. The organization of the World Cup has taken into account the suggestions of both the public and the participants to improve the experience for everyone. The route, which in its premiere last year was 3.150 kilometers long, has been slightly adjusted to exactly 3 kilometers. In addition, the finishing straight has been lengthened to offer more excitement in the last phase of the races.

The big news: More Fan Zone!

However, the real novelties of this edition are to be found outside the layout. The organization has been attentive to the suggestions of the fans, collected both in person and through social networks and email. The result is amazing: from one Fan Zone in the previous edition, there will now be three! This will allow fans to enjoy food and drink without long waits, significantly enhancing the experience. In addition, six giant screens have been installed throughout the venue to ensure that no one misses a single moment of the action. Thanks to adjustments to the circuit, distances within the venue will also be shorter, making it easier for spectators to move around.

Words from the organizer

Pascual Momparler, the head of Momparler Cycling and the UCI Cyclocross World Cup - Benidorm Costa Blanca, expressed his enthusiasm for these changes: "We have worked for a long time on this new course. For the riders, the most noticeable change is the finishing straight, which will be a bit longer. We have also tried to listen to the public's suggestions, since they are the ones who know best how the cyclocross festival should be. We listened to their suggestions and, as a result, we have added more Fan Zone-type spaces, provided more screens to follow the competition and improved the circulation of fans on the circuit with more bridges and shorter distances. We are looking forward to 2024 and the month of January to enjoy the second edition of this exciting event".

Tickets for all tastes

To ensure that all fans have the opportunity to experience this exciting competition, three types of adult tickets have been made available for sale:

General: At a price of 15€ until December 19.
VIP: Includes food, drinks and a privileged location overlooking the finish line.
Super VIP: Offers gourmet products and parking next to the circuit.

Children between 7 and 14 years old will pay admission to the VIP and Super VIP areas, while children under 14 years old who want to access the General area and children up to 7 years old who want to enter accompanied by an adult in the VIP and Super VIP areas may do so with a child ticket for only € 2. The proceeds from these children's tickets will be donated entirely to local charities.
