Elisa Longo Borghini beats Veronica Ewers for a second consecutive time towards win at Tre Valli Varesine

Elisa Longo Borghini is bringing in strong form towards the end of the season, and that has earned the Trek - Segafredo another win at the late Italian Autumn classics as she conquered Tre Valli Varesine.

The Italian crossed the line solo after a successful late attack, in which she once again - as was the case at the Giro dell'Emilia - beat Veronica Ewers who went on to finish in second place. Ane Santesteban rounded out the podium.
