Dylan van Baarle to Jumbo-Visma reported to be a done deal

After rumours started emerging before Paris-Roubaix, many talks have been had in the background, indicating that the Dutchman could be joining Jumbo-Visma. Dylan van Baarle won Paris-Roubaix, and his capacity to thrive on all terrains makes him one of the most valuable riders in the peloton, specially in contract year.

Het Nieuwsblad reported that the deal is already finished. Dylan van Baarle finished Paris-Roubaix in first place, with a second place at Tour des Flandres - where he has several times finished in the Top10. He won Dwars door Vlaanderen last year, and has for two consecutive seasons been one of the most consistent classics riders. Outside of that, He is a crucial piece of support for INEOS Grenadiers in the Grand Tours.

He was close to the rainbow stripes last year in Leuven, where he took a silver medal. Van Baarle will, if confirmed, join an already incredibly strong classics block that includes Wout van Aert, Christophe Laporte, Tiesj Benoot and Mike Teunissen - to mention a few. Jumbo-Visma have built one of the strongest and most successful classics blocks in the peloton, but are not yet content and are on the verge of taking it to an even superior level, resembling the peak years of the Quick-Step team.
