Doug Ryder's new team secures another World Tour climber

Mark Donovan is the latest rider to join Doug Ryder’s cycling team for 2023. After three seasons with Team DSM, the British rider will race for Ryder's new-look team next year.

A new team, whose name has yet to be revealed, has been assembled by Ryder, which includes some serious and competitive riders. Some riders who have already signed the contract include Damien Howson, Gianluca Brambilla, and Matteo Moschetti. Jack Bauer is also in contact but the deal has not finalised yet.

With two top ten stage finishes during the 2020 Vuelta a Espana, Donovan made his grand tour debut. He also participated in Tour de France next year. Although he has not yet won his first professional race, the rider continues to learn and progress.
