Derek Gee takes second straight Canadian time-trial title

For the second straight year, Israel - Premier Tech rider Derek Gee has taken the victory at the Canadian National Championships in the individual time-trial.

The 25-year-old took the win by 19 seconds ahead of INEOS Grenadiers rider Michael Leonard and Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team's Nickolas Zukowsky in third at 34 seconds. Gee finished third in the road race at the 2021 National Championships and will go into this year's race full of confidence and one of the favourites for victory.
